170,000 people worldwide are dead since it started being tracked. I would bet you $100 it’s at LEAST actually double that, but the disaster of tracking this thing is epic. 2020 and the majority of testing is only available to those who have symptoms. Which would be fine IF HUMANS WERE IMMUNE TO THIS THING.
And to keep my blood pressure down, to avoid stress, anxiety and frustration, I’m trying to keep my news consumption to a minimum (it’s 10:30pm on a Monday night, and in the background as I write this, I’m watching a show on Clark Rockefeller – creepy fuh-reak! – so calming).
Today in Massachusetts, the Boston Marathon should have been run. But because of COVID-19, no dice. I feel so bad for the people who trained so hard up until Mid-March when it got postponed until September. Who knows if it will happen then?
But, as I wrote in my post yesterday, I took my pal Floki out to the Wayside Inn to take a nice walk through a historical Colonial place – it felt like a little Patriot’s Day celebration. Especially since people were dressed in period gear, and one colonial fella was playing a fife!
I had to stop for gas on the way out there – which was wild because I hadn’t filled my tank since the beginning of March! 6 weeks to run through a tank of gas (one more unprecedented affect of COVID). My jaw dropped when I saw the price of gas

So, after I filled my tank for $22 on SUnday- that’s right, $22 – I see this today on WSJ homepage:

HOW CAN SOMETHING COST LESS THAN ZERO? AND HOW CAN OIL COST LESS THAN ZERO? What in the crying fuck does this even mean??????
It’s truly insane what’s going on. Reputable news outlets copy reads like Onion articles. For example:

Cops say people must wear pants to get mail from mailboxes.
