So, yeah. Pan-fucking-demic. We are living through a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. WHAT. THE. HOLIEST. OF. FUCKS. IS. THIS.
It started in Wuhan, China. The latest article I read was from Fox News (don’t ask. OK, fine- I was trying to understand what the lunatics protesting the quarantine measures were being fed by POTUS’s spin machine ) but the latest claim is that it came out of a poorly secured laboratory there (no, it wasn’t manufactured there, it just somehow slipped out).
So, one person’s – or a few people’s – poor safety guidelines have thrown the world into the biggest mess we’ve all every probably seen. A hyperbolic example of the “butterfly effect” – our world as we have all known it has been brought to its knees.
TO ITS KNEES.
There are no gatherings of more than 10 people allowed in my state, Massachusetts.
In Boston, it’s required that you wear face masks.
It’s nearly impossible to find bleach, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper…
It has decimated industries, savings accounts, credit scores.
It has, as of today, killed 157,979 people according to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/….
But it has also generated endless hilarious memes….
This is like living in someone’s crazy science fiction story.
